Talk by Marion Brandis this Sunday (19th May) at 4pm – How the Large Sphere was made

Marion writes :”Embrace Your World is a personal work, but I hope it has universal meaning. It is about drawing strength from your surroundings, from what grounds you, what sustains you in your personal environment. In my talk I will show how it was made, from first ideas and drawings to the back-breaking work of producing the shape and the mosaics, and transporting it to its exhibition at Godinton house. The piece was created in my outdoors gazebo studio, during the hot summer of 2018.”
