This year’s opening event

About two hundred people who open their houses each year attended this year’s event at the Old Market Place in Hove. Judy Stevens gave a powerful speech saying that the artists open houses were remarkable as so many pepole gave so much energy to the activity. There were opportunities to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. The sense of community is strong. One of the great features of the Artists’ Open Houses. This years’ poster (see below) features the work of Marion Brandis who will be exhibiting her exciting architectural work, different from her animal sculptures, in Encounters this year.
